Company profile
Gruending Translations was
founded by the company owner Dr Yasmin Gründing (Univ. Lond.) in 1999
in Burglengenfeld, a small town 25 km north of Regensburg, Bavaria.
The company specialises in translation from German to English (British). Fields of activity include scientific, pharmaceutical, medical, technical and general texts.
Numerous translation projects in a variety of different fields
have been completed (see references) in the
course of existence
of the company, allowing a broad range of skills and experience to be
acquired. This is backed by a solid academic
education ensuring in-depth understanding of specific
areas as well as comprehension of general scientific
interrelationships.
Teaching assignments have also been obtained.
Qualifications
Academic studies at University College, University of London:
BSc Chemistry, first class honours – 1986
Diploma in Chemical Engineering – 1987
PhD in Medicinal Chemistry - 1990
State-certified translator accreditation:
German/English, specialisation in science, at the SDI college for
language professions (Sprachen- und Dolmetscher-Institut) in Munich -
2008
Publicly appointed and sworn as a translator for English:
